GESCHICHTE
Die zur GESCO-Gruppe gehörende SVT GmbH ist einer der weltweit führenden Hersteller von Verladeeinrichtungen für flüssige und gasförmige Medien. Mehr als 50 Jahre Erfahrung in Konstruktion, Fertigung und Wartung sowie Tausende weltweit installierter Verladeeinrichtungen begründen den Ruf von SVT als zuverlässiger und innovativer Partner für seine Kunden.
Nach wie vor konstruiert, fertigt und montiert SVT nur in Deutschland – alle Schlüsselkomponenten wie Drehgelenke, Sicherheitstrennkupplungen, Steuerungssysteme und Anschlusskupplungen werden von SVT in Deutschland konstruiert, gefertigt und getestet.
SVT entwickelt – basierend auf langjährigem Know-how – Geräte, die führend sind auf dem Gebiet der neuesten Technologien in der Verladetechnik, des Umweltschutzes und der Sicherheit des Bedienpersonals.
WIESE & CONNEX
Die Ursprünge der SVT GmbH finden sich sowohl in der 1968 gegründeten und 1987 übernommenen Wiese GmbH als auch in der 1980 gegründeten Connex GmbH, die 1997 ebenfalls übernommen wurde.
Über 50 Jahre geballtes Wissen im Bereich Verladetechnik!
Die Wiese GmbH war bekannt für innovative Produkte im Bereich der Verladetechnik. Ein völlig neues Konzept war die separate Tragkonstruktion des SVT Schiffsverlader-Modells ATLANTIC, entwickelt für die erhöhten Anforderungen bei der Verladung von kritischen, flüssigen und gasförmigen Medien. Auch die Connex GmbH, die sich seinerzeit von der Wiese GmbH abgespalten hatte, war weltweit auf dem Gebiet der Verladetechnik etabliert.
Im Jahr 2002 wurde SVT von der GESCO SE, Wuppertal, übernommen. Die GESCO-Gruppe (www.gesco.de) zeichnet sich durch unabhängig geführte Tochterunternehmen – meist aus der Metall- und Kunststoffbranche – aus.
Aus dieser Übernahme entstand die heutige, nach wie vor weltweit tätige “SVT GmbH” mit ihrer Tochtergesellschaft Connex SVT Inc. in Houston, Texas.
